Eco-Corr® Biodegradable VpCI® Film, Patented
Description:
Eco-Corr Film® is the first biodegradable corrosion inhibiting film that contains Cortec’s proprietary VpCI® Technology and provides excellent contact, barrier, and vapor-phase corrosion protection for ferrous and non-ferrous metals.Eco-Corr Film® will disintegrate into carbon dioxide and water within 2-3 months in a commercial composting environment. The exact time for films to biodegrade is dependent upon the conditions and activity of the disposal environment (temperature, soil quality, activity of microorganisms). Eco-Corr Film® is shelf stable and will not break down prematurely until disposed of in a propercomposting environment. It is compostable and compliant to ASTM D6400 (BPI #051109-C).

Package:
Metal parts packaged in Eco-Corr Film® receive continuous protection against salt, excessive humidity, condensation, moisture, aggressive industrial atmospheres, and dissimilar metal corrosion.

Eco Film
Description:
Eco Film™ is most similar to low density polyethylene, but is up to 300% stronger than LDPE.  It is the softest in appearance and the most elastic formulation we offer.  Eco Film™ is certified compostable per ASTM D 6400, and is listed on both BPI and Din Certco’s list of approved products.

Package:
Eco Film is available in 3 stock sizes, based on the most common container/bin sizes used in organics diversion programs.  Eco Film is also available in custom sizes, thicknesses and forms—essentially any form available in polyethylene is likely available in Eco Film.  Eco Film can be custom printed and can be produced as standard translucent, white opaque and black opaque.  In some markets, retail packages of Eco Film are available.
